Position Summary

Coordinate key activities related to internal and external quality system audits. Follow‑up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure implementation and closure of audit findings. Assess the level of compliance to the quality management system through the execution of internal audits. Drive best practices throughout Harman Queretaro facility and promote compliance with international quality standards. Validate implementation of applicable customer‑specific requirements.

The key responsibility of this position is to execute internal audit and document control related activities, and to assess compliance with the latest customer and regulatory requirements.

The job holder is expected to provide training to employees to enable continual improvement and understanding of internal and external processes, requirements and standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities

As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is no employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee with equal qualifications. Job Responsibilities Plan, lead and execute internal system audits to assess compliance to standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, customer‑specific requirements and Harman internal requirements at the Queretaro Harman Automotive locations. Support planning and preparation activities for external certification audits to ISO 9001/IATF 16949. Execute internal audit schedule as directed by Site Lead Internal and assure adherence to audit plans. Communicate audit results effectively through the preparation of clear, concise and robust audit reports. Facilitate communication of audit results to auditee and key management staff as necessary. Effectively manage audit results and findings (measurement of effectiveness, follow‑up measures). Measure and monitor performance indicators of the audit process,



perform data analysis and determine any needs or opportunities for continual improvement of the quality management system. Validate containment and systemic corrective actions are effectively implemented for all non‑conformances issued as a result of internal and external system and process audits. Perform conformity tests to assess compliance with global BMS process documentation. Manage LPA (Layer Process Audits) execution, prepare audit plan, coordinate execution with responsible parties and follow‑up of audit findings/results. Support analysis of potential weaknesses and risks of defined processes. Establish and coordinate training activities regarding quality management and document management systems. Train staff on IATF 16949 requirements and promote integration into applicable integral policies and processes throughout the organization. Validate documentation in the manufacturing areas through document control audits. Assist process owners and employees in creation of new and revisions of existing BMS documentation to enable conformance to IATF, customer and Harman requirements. Support continuous improvement activities for defined processes. Strive to reduce local quality management documentation by guiding staff to work with global process owners to resolve process concerns or gaps. 3 years of prior experience in automotive industry 3 years working in the quality system area 1 year of prior experience in auditing IATF 16949 Lead Auditor training VDA 6.3 Process Auditor training ISO 19011 training ISO 9001 training Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, MSA and SPC) training Strong knowledge of quality systems (IATF 16949 and VDA) Strong knowledge of applicable customer‑specific requirements Strong problem‑solving/root cause analysis skills Process‑approach knowledge Risk‑based thinking knowledge Skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point) Interpersonal skills Bilingual communication skills (English 70%) Result‑driven Initiative Ability for international travel (USA) Preferred Qualifications Leadership Change orientation Collaboration Judgment Result‑driven Processes mapping and development Able to plan and organize Analytical approach Knowledge in continuous improvement, total quality philosophies and basic statistical tools Knowledge of JIRA application Eligibility Requirements Must be willing to travel up to 10%, including domestic and international travel Must be willing to work in an office and manufacturing facility in Queretaro Successfully complete a background investigation and mandatory drug screening as a condition of employment Authority
