**JOB OVERVIEW**
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to collaborate across departments to produce creative and compelling video assets for a variety of use-cases. Videos will range from a variety of sizes of social media content, internal communications, advertisements, testimonials, event sizzle reels, and more. This role will require a wide array of video design capabilities and the ability to think creatively about content and communicating information, articulate and defend design choices, and work flexibly.
**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Meet with the Brand+Experience team & department heads to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created
- Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format
- Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects
- Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
- Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to stakeholders for approval
- Improve video and sound quality using various video & audio software
- Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
- Ability source high quality stock video, audio, and graphic assets using approved licensed libraries
- Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to project specifications
- Effectively store and manage asset libraries for the organization
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in film editing or related creative degree is required OR equivalent real-world experience
- Mastery of video and audio editing software and programs




- Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar software
- Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
- Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
- Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with stakeholders and the ability to bring them to life
- Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
- Experience with graphic templates and packages for titles, motion graphics, etc.
- Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
- Good communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
- Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply stakeholders with top-notch finalized product
- Filmography / Audio capture capabilities
