Position overview: We are seeking a Database Architect with expertise in relational and non-relational data modeling, design, programming in Python and Java, data visualization, and migration to join our team. The Database Architect will play a pivotal role in designing databases, defining usage standards, integration, technological stack, and security measures, contributing to the overall success of our initiatives.
- Responsibilities: Generate and maintain the technological stack to support efficient database architecture and meet business requirements
- Defining database usage standards and ensuring compliance with security measures
- Collaborating with product teams to provide tools and support for database-related tasks
- Contributing to data architecture decisions and providing expertise in cloud computing and data engineering
- Conducting data visualization to enhance understanding and decision-making processes
- Participating in data migration projects to ensure seamless transitions and mínimal disruptions
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in database architecture and management
- Requirements: Proficient in Oracle Database
- Experienced in managing PostgreSQL and Bigtable
- Good programming skills in Python and Java
- Proficiency in relational and non-relational data modeling and design
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- Hands-on experience in database administration and development, with expertise in both relational database management systems (RDBMS) and non-relational databases
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment
