**Primary Objective of Position**
- Created automated systems for use in a production and manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, creating detailed project road maps for automation projects that support our business objectives.
**Technical Job Functions**
- Design and implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining and inspection processes.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs for equipment.
- Manage equipment purchase and installation.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation.
- Lead collaborative discussions between local management and upper management to determine automation capabilities and goals.
- Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation.
- Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.
- Equipment Bill of Materials.
- Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
- End-to-end functional testing of all points to local devices, HMI, control room, and other data off-taker facilities.
**Authorities and Responsibilities**
- Assists with project planning, scheduling, and coordination for all size projects.
- Provides technical leadership.
- Works with other project team members and produce project deliverables as required.
- Troubleshooting and resolving communications issues.
- Programming of all devices.
- Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
**Job Requirements**:
**Knowledge**
- Proficiency with PLC hardware selection and programming.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and other computer software.
- Possesses effective written and oral communications skills.
- Autocad/Solidworks/Creo
- Experience with the desi.gn and implementation of automated systems, especially as related to manufacturing.
- Fluid in English, written and spoken.
- Strong ability with software testing and validation.
**Communication**
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, product drawings, and product specifications.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribe style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and / or boards of directors.
**Interpersonal**
- Ability to demonstrate character, integrity, honesty, ethical behaviors and industriousness.
- Ability to effectively participate in teams and projects and contribute to unit cohesiveness and productivity.
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor Degree in Electronic engineering or electrical engineering, or Mechatronic engineering.
- Minimum of 10 year of hands on experience in designing automation assembly machineries.
