RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate with customers and promptly address their needs
- Develop and maintain a robust testing environment for both unit and automated assessments
- Design and manage high-performance services that scale well
- Collaborate extensively across different teams to finalize well-rounded design decisions
- Ensure high-quality code through comprehensive reviews
- Generate and evaluate technical design proposals and proofs of concept
- Advocate for best practices in engineering to enhance the team's standards
- Maintain operational excellence through vigilant testing, monitoring, documentation, and providing on-call support
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Background in software development for at least 5 years
- Proficiency in Go with at least 3 years of experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Skills in gRPC and familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Significant expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based web services, notably on AWS
- Competency in enhancing code quality, championing best practices, ensuring continuous delivery, and endorsing automated testing
- Flexibility to adapt to various tools and technologies necessary for different projects
- Capability to operate independently when interacting with customers




- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with using Datadog for effective monitoring and analytics
- Understanding of GraphQL to optimize data querying
- Knowledge of Redis as a data structure store
- Capability in Python for backend scripting and further development tasks
