**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with national and international customs regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in trade laws and regulations, advising the organization on compliance matters.
- Manage the preparation and submission of customs documentation and declarations.
- Oversee and coordinate customs clearance processes to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve any customs-related issues.
- Optimize import/export processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and documentation.
- Prepare periodic reports on customs operations, compliance status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Establish and maintain relationships with customs brokers, transportation providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Experiência y requisitos
**Qualifications and Requirements**:




- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs management, international trade, or logistics.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Valid visa for international travel.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, trade agreements.
- Experience working with customs brokers and government authorities.
- Proficiency in customs software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
