Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct chemical tests assess the composition, structure, and properties as Technician Level
- Conduct chemical analysis including elemental composition, chemical purity and presence of impurities using spectroscopy, chromatography and wet chemistry methods.
- Interpret spectra and chromatograms to identify chemical compounds
- Collect samples of substrate materials
- Document observations and outcomes accurately using digital tools or laboratory notebooks.
- Maintain organized records for result verification and report generation.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment
- Ensure that the substrates meet quality specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements by conducting tests for compliance
- Participate in quality control procedures, including instrument calibration and performance checks.
- Collaborate on troubleshooting technical issues
Requirement
- Minimum Associate's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.




- Strong understanding of chemical principles, analytical techniques, and instrumentation.
- Prior experience in a laboratory environment or as an assistant in chemical analysis is advantageous to handle ICP equipment
- Understandings for material engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analytical chemistry
- Strong understanding of chemical principles
- Experience or knowledge with ICP equipment
- Understandings for material engineering
- Knowledge of ICP MES, CVS and other spectrophotometer, chromatography systems
