CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for a Software Engineer with strong backend experience focused on Java development. Strong experience building scalable distributed systems using Java and modern cloud technologies is required. This role is for a Fortune 500 client.

Responsibilities
- Develop software systems to support Supply Chain services and warehouse management.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable and reliable backend systems to solve complex business problems.
- Define, scope, and estimate tasks, ensuring efficient delivery of work artifacts.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Perform both automation and manual testing to guarantee software quality.
- Document system designs and technical decisions clearly.
- Provide on-call support for the systems owned by the team, including incident triaging and resolution.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
- Lead small engineering efforts, helping prioritize work intake and sharing updates with stakeholders.
- Participate in debugging, root cause analysis, and continuous system improvement.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong experience with RESTful architecture and microservices.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes.
