The Health, Safety & Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all health, safety, environmental, and security programs to ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards. This role plays a key part in promoting a safe workplace culture, protecting company assets, and minimizing occupational and security risks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, environmental, and security policies.
- Supervise and coordinate the company’s security personnel and external security providers.
- Develop and oversee asset protection strategies, including access control, surveillance, and perimeter security.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits for both safety and security areas.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety/security regulations, as well as company guidelines.
- Develop and deliver safety and security training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses, and security breaches, ensuring proper reporting and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, security logs, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to foster a proactive culture of safety and security.
- Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols.
- Manage external relationships with regulatory agencies, auditors, and third-party providers.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership regarding health, safety, and security indicators.

**Education & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Security Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) highly preferred.
**Experience**
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Health, Safety, and Security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record in implementing safety/security programs and achieving compliance with local and international regulations.
- Experience leading audits, inspections, investigations, and supervising security teams.
- Strong background in employee training, security operations, and crisis management.
**Skills & Competencies**
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental, and physical security regulations.
- Leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams of security guards and safety staff.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain calm under pressure.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
