- Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Jr._
- Reporting: Manufacturing Manager_
Functional objectives:
- 1. Plan, establish, direct and coordinate activities related to safe manufacturing processes in Harting Mexico Manufacturing for Value products related to HCS._
- 2. Implement continuous improvement programs for better quality and manufacturing methods, in addition to maintaining/raising the audits score_._
- Is responsible for:_
**_ Role 1: New products_**
- _ Evaluates and suggests recommendations on the manufacturing quality control processes, types of manufacturing methods to be adopted, list of processes to follow, suggested tools and accessories_
- _ Provides technical support/training for HMM assembly personnel._
- _ PFMEA Preparation, Work Control and Instruction Plan_
- _ Pre -produces first production or samples_
- _ Responsible for selection of machinery and tools for new production lines_

Role 2: Serial production_**
- _ Recommends the organization to achieve maximum production and efficiency capacity._
- _ Improves manufacturing efficiency through the analysis and planning of the workflow, the space requirements and equipment disposal._
- _ Develops procedures and meets these for control, issuance, storage and file of drawings. online procedures and specifications with ISO 9000 standards._
- _ Performs products/processes analysis to reduce costs, improve quality and improve efficiency._
- _ Work in close collaboration with the quality engineer and others to establish the fundamental causes and implement corrective and preventive actions._
- _ Uses statistical data that, in return,



helps the team clearly identify the future manufacturing requirements._
- _ Represents manufacturing in multifunctional equipment_
- _ Cycle time and balancing of operations line_
- _ Production capacity studies_

Role 3: Continuous improvement_**
- _ Provide leadership for continuous improvement activities in the plant_
- _ Present automation projects to improve the plant's automation percentage in productive processes_

Professional education and knowledge:_**
- _ Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or related engineering._
- _ 1 to 2 years of work experience in engineering in a related industry (electronics/cable)._
Functional, technical and individual competences required.

Knowledge of electrical connectors and connector assembly._
- _ Pneumatic, electric, electronic and mechanical knowledge_
- _ SAP management._
- _ JIT technique formation._
- _ Advanced English._
- _ Coretools_
- _ Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma._
- _ Experience in automotive industry IATF 16949._
