**About the Role**:
As a **Network Operations Engineer**, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing DXC’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, implement upgrades, and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and degradations in a timely manner.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.




- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network changes and upgrades.
- Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network operations or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
**Other Qualifications**:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
