**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Teach knowledge and skills in Technology and Design using the designated curriculum and other appropriate learning activities.
- Support ASF in the further development of curriculum and programming for Technology and Design courses.
- Collaborate with other Middle School (MS) teachers to plan and implement a strong technology and design curriculum.
- Work cooperatively with the Makerspace Coordinator, STEM Coordinator, Makerspace Technician, Educational Technology Coordinator, Dean of Academics, and Dean of Students to integrate resources.
- Lead a group of students in Homeroom/Advisory, modeling non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
- Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with the division’s instructional philosophy and standards.




- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to provide an orderly, productive learning environment.
- Evaluate academic and social growth, prepare report cards, and maintain appropriate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents and school counselors regarding student progress.
- Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities as assigned.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
**Education and Certification**
- Must possess a **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Education, STEM, or a related field.
- Should be in possession of an **appropriate teaching credential**.
**Experience and Skills**
- At least **2 years of teaching experience** within a K-12 school setting.
- **Fluent in English** (required).
- **Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus.**:
- Proven ability to integrate **design thinking** and **digital citizenship** into instructional practice.
