MMR CONSULTING is seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support high-speed industrial automation projects across North America. This role involves PLC programming, system commissioning, and integration for advanced manufacturing systems.
**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA automation systems
- Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and Mitsubishi PLCs
- Develop and maintain programs using:
- RSLogix / Studio 5000
- TIA Portal
- Configure and support SCADA systems including Ignition
- Commission and debug automated equipment on-site
- Integrate robotics, motion control, and safety systems
- Support customer startups and production launches
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls systems
**Required Skills**:
- Strong experience with PLC programming, experience with:
- Allen Bradley
- Siemens
- Omron




- Mitsubishi
- SCADA and HMI experience
- Experience with Ignition SCADA
- Experience in high-speed automation environments
- Preferred industry experience, working with:
- Automotive OEMs (GM, Tesla, Ford)
- Tier 1 automotive suppliers
- Food/Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics manufacturing
- High-speed production lines
**Requirements**:
- Willingness to travel 90-100%
- Ability to work on customer sites across North America
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Engineering or technical degree preferred
