Collections Specialist - Accounts Receivable (Nursing Home Industry)
**Location**: Hybrid - Roma Norte, Mexico City
**Job Type**: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and persistent Collections Specialist to join the Accounts Receivable team of a growing nursing home chain. This role is responsible for contacting patients, family members, and responsible parties regarding outstanding balances, copays, and past-due accounts while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
**Responsibilities**
- Contact patients, family members, and guarantors regarding outstanding balances and copays
- Work closely with the AR department to track account statuses and payment activity
- Negotiate payment arrangements when appropriate
- Document all collection efforts and account updates accurately in the system
- Maintain professionalism and empathy while handling sensitive financial conversations
- Escalate unresolved accounts when necessary
- Meet collection and follow-up goals established by management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare billing procedures
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in collections,



accounts receivable, or medical billing/AR
- Experience working in healthcare, nursing homes, or medical offices is highly preferred
- Strong phone communication and negotiation skills
- Persistent personality with strong follow-through
- Comfortable handling objections and difficult conversations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated
- Reliable, professional, and results-driven

Pay: $18,000.00 - $24,083.80 per month
