**The Role**:
As an End User Technologies (EUT) Engineer, you ensure endpoint devices are secure, compliant, up to date, and reliably supported across the general organization. Leveraging deep expertise in MDM, Microsoft endpoint technologies, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, you create strategy, direct management, and optimize a diverse endpoint landscape across Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS — while helping define and improve modern device and mobility management practices.
You act as a Level 3 (L3) support expert / SME, providing advanced technical guidance and escalation support to Level 2 teams and Field IT colleagues across plants and office locations worldwide, and you drive continuous improvement through automation and innovation using tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, and other Azure-based services. Working in an international team environment, you deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric endpoint solutions that support a high-quality digital workplace experience — contributing directly to the stability, security, and continuous improvement of end-user services at Clarios.
**What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)**:
- Manage & optimize endpoints: manage and optimize endpoints using MDM tools, keeping Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS devices secure, up to date, and compliant with company policies, and guide the operations team members responsible for patching endpoints and delivering updates.
- Provide L3 support: deliver Level 3 technical troubleshooting and escalation support for complex endpoint and mobility issues — minimizing downtime and supporting a high-quality user experience for L2 teams and Field IT worldwide.
- Own the device lifecycle: oversee the full device lifecycle — provisioning, deployment, maintenance, refresh,
and decommissioning — for efficient asset management and mínimal user disruption.
- Ensure security & compliance: keep endpoints meeting security and compliance requirements (encryption, patching, access controls) in line with IT standards and corporate policies, and partner with the cybersecurity team to align security strategies, support risk mitigation, and continuously improve endpoint security controls.
- Drive automation & improvement: identify and implement automation opportunities (including PowerShell-based solutions) and process improvements that increase service efficiency and improve the end-user experience.
- Embed security & prepare for transition: embed security and compliance by design — not by exception — across all end-user solutions, and ensure solutions are fully designed, documented, and ready for transition into Run organizations, with design governance, decision frameworks, and success measures for consistent execution.
- Collaborate globally: work with international IT teams to align endpoint management practices, share knowledge, and promote consistency across regions.
**What Success Looks Like**:
- Clear, executable roadmaps and strategies that align business priorities, security requirements, and user needs.
- Well-architected solutions that transition smoothly into Run teams with mínimal rework.
- Reduced long-term risk through intentional, security-centric design.
- Customer-centric solutions and collaboration — knowing your customers and integrating them into the right technical solutions.
- Clarios values modeled through collaboration, accountability, and a high-performing team culture.
**Core Competencies**:
- Endpoint engineering and enterprise device management across Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS.
- Microsoft Intune and the broader Microsoft endpoint ecosystem, plus MDM platforms.
- Level 3 troubleshooting / SME support and full device lifecycle management.
- Endpoint security and compliance (encryption, patching, access controls) in partnership with cybersecurity.
- Automation with PowerShell, Azure Automation, and other Azure-based services.
- Strategy, roadmap, and scalable, user-centric solution design.
- International collaboration and strong English communication.
**What You Bring (Qualifications)**:
**Required**
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, end-user computing, or enterprise device management — including hands-on device management and troubleshooting in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Intune for enterprise device management.
- Proven experience managing Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices in an enterprise environment.
- Solid understanding of end-user hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
