MSSQL IT Manager based at our Guadalajara, North Campus location. Leading a team of database professionals who report directly to this role, the MSSQL Manager combines deep SQL Server technical expertise with proven leadership experience to set technical direction and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise SQL Server estate.
What a typical day looks like
- Define, design, implement and hold up enterprise database systems helping various business application solutions.
- Prepare standard operating procedures for day‑to‑day maintenance of the databases.
- Implement adequate administrative tools and processes for these enterprise database systems.
- Proactively monitor enterprise database systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet dynamic business requirements.
- Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms with customers, peers, and cross‑functional teams.
- Adhere to service‑level acceptance agreements with the business and ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of the systems with respect to security and SOX requirements.
- Ensure database systems are always up to date with security patches.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team
- Minimum of 8+ years of related experience.
- Solid technical skills in data base, SQL and an understanding of functional impact on work processes.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Advanced English level.
