Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure new interfaces between in house system and third-party systems (e.g., laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, billing).
- Monitor and troubleshoot interface message flows to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyze business and clinical requirements to translate them into technical interface specifications.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to test, validate, and deploy interfaces in production environments.
- Perform proactive monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades of interface engines.
- Document interface configurations, data flow diagrams,
and change management activities.
- Provide on-call support and participate in integration testing cycles during project go-lives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, BioMedical or a related field.
- Minimum of 0 – 2 years of experience in systems integration within a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in System integrations and familiarity with interface monitoring tools and log analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of network protocols, data mapping, and message transformation.
- Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or X12.
- 1+ year using HL7 standards for integration work, preferably with CorePoint, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, IRIS/HealthShare, or other common integration engines.
