Operations Manager, Last Mile Operations
Lead operations for Amazon delivery stations, overseeing 30,000+ packages daily and managing a team of managers and associates. Drive operational goals, metrics, and continuous improvement, while ensuring high performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Amazon orders to customers on a 24/7 basis, adapting to ever‑rising volume and complexity.
- Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs).
- Drive operational goals and metrics for your Delivery Station, communicating vision to the team.
- Present operational metrics regularly to senior leadership.
- Identify and solve gaps between performance and goals.
- Hire, develop, and retain top talent using a comprehensive talent plan covering acquisition, performance, succession, and engagement.
- Collaborate with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES, and Engineering.

About the Team
Responsible for setting goals where strategy may not yet be defined. Establishes workflows, SLAs, and operational excellence mechanisms; sets the standard for effective Delivery Station management and leverages industry practices. Brings a strong business acumen to decision making and partners with finance for cost‑benefit analyses. Broad functional and technical experience, designing, deploying, and maintaining large‑scale operations.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
