Job Description

Perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Realiza las tareas físicas o administrativas relacionadas con el envío, la recepción, el almacenamiento y la distribución de materiales, piezas, suministros y equipos. Desempaca y verifica la mercancía recibida cotejándola con las órdenes de compra o facturas, mantiene registros de la mercancía recibida y rechaza los artículos defectuosos. Levanta objetos pesados y puede operar una carretilla elevadora. Prepara y mantiene registros de la mercancía enviada. Registra los pesos y los gastos de envío y prepara la mercancía para su envío final. Examina, almacena y distribuye materiales en el inventario y en las líneas de producción.



Puede preparar kits para la producción de ensamblaje.
