Your Path to a High-Impact Healthcare Career
Impact Advisors is seeking an experienced OCI Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions for our healthcare clients.
This role is centered on deep Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) expertise, with opportunities to support broader cloud strategies where clients operate in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
Note: OCI certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional) is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise will be highly valued.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable, secure OCI infrastructure solutions aligned to client business and clinical needs
- Develop reference architectures, landing zones, and compartment strategies using OCI best practices
- Lead infrastructure modernization efforts, including data center migrations and hybrid cloud architectures
- Architect for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in mission-critical healthcare environments
- Support cloud enablement of EHR platforms (e.g., Epic),
clinical applications, and ancillary systems
- Design infrastructure to meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with application, data, and security teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms
Security & Compliance
- Implement OCI-native security controls (IAM, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, etc.)
- Define governance frameworks, policies, and guardrails for enterprise cloud adoption
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks
DevOps & Automation
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or OCI Resource Manager
- Enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
- Drive standardization and repeatability across client environments
Client Engagement & Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Infrastructure leadership)
- Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and roadmap development sessions
Mentor junior engineers and architects within Impact Advisors
Contribute to business development, solutioning, and thought leadership
Who You Are
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2–4 years focused on OCI cloud architecture
- Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade OCI environments
Strong knowledge of:
- Networking concepts (DNS, VPN, FastConnect, load balancing)
- High availability and disaster recovery design patterns
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or similar)
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience working in regulated industries (healthcare strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect certification (Associate or Professional) or equivalent experience
- Experience with Epic EHR infrastructure or other major healthcare platforms
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OKE)
- Exposure to data platforms and analytics in OCI (e.g., Autonomous Database, Data Flow)
- Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid or multi-cloud environments
