Electrical Design Engineer Sr

Responsible for the development and support of release and implementation of electronic components for the overall design engineering aspect of projects related to NPI, Sustaining, and Operation Support. The Electrical Engineer will solve complex problems and participate in the specification, design, and testing for the next-generation product platform. He/She will contribute to the next-generation product design by developing a deep understanding of customer needs and translating them into functional solutions to provide safe and effective products.

Main Responsibilities:

- Develop new electrical solutions that meet all customer and regulatory requirements, including proper component selection, sizing, protection, and conformance with industry standards.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of electrical components strategies and systems, including legacy systems, and their impact on the operation of our products.
- Serve as project lead on key electronics-related initiatives, such as new controller introduction, key customer launches, and high-complexity projects.
- Create and communicate project plans, tasks, and deliverables, managing time to meet deadlines, and report progress through clear oral and written communications.
- Partner with key electronic suppliers to understand system capabilities, resolve customer concerns, and influence future development.
- Mentor other engineering team members to develop their electronics knowledge.
- Create electrical diagrams,



power & control drawings, specifications, and 3D models.
- Review and update engineering documentation, including product, parts, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and instructions/MOAs.
- Support manufacturing, quality, and laboratory teams to ensure products are built and tested according to specifications.
- Engage in continuous learning to broaden technical knowledge in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, and electrical engineering.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- +5 years’ experience in electronic components implementation, validation, and related applications.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Skills and Competencies:

- Experience with electronic components in refrigeration, HVAC, or related industries.
- Proven ability in validating electronic components, subcomponents, and circuits.
- Proficiency in CAD software, capable of creating and editing 3D drawings from scratch.
- Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Solid Edge, AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of Bill of Material structures and engineering change processes.
- Understanding of refrigeration system design and electrical/electronic component functionality.
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and solution-oriented mindset.
