The Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more USO Center(s) operations, managing programs, events and activities at the center and surrounding locations, and supervising operational staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities
- Provide visitor and guest leadership, ensuring the center is effective, inviting, safe, clean, well‑maintained, and ready for use. Maintain equipment cleanliness and enforce adherence to sanitary guidelines and food‑handling regulations.
- Plan, qualify, and deliver programs on and off U.S. military installations, delivering services, equipment, and events within budget limits; identify and implement operational and program improvements that achieve USO standards of excellence.
- Review program and service needs, research and recommend new programs, and implement and oversee required changes.
- Coach and mentor USO Center staff, oversee volunteer scheduling, recruitment, training, and recognition; develop and maintain working relationships with vendors and local contractors.

and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and the Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP); ensure compliance, report incidents, and conduct employee accountability checks.
- Perform financial activities: create and execute operating budget, manage cash on hand, maintain inventory of supplies and assets, and conduct banking transactions within budgetary guidelines.
- Prepare, review, and present financial, operational, and statistical reports; maintain required records for local procedures and activities.
- Communicate center operations, programs, and activities to internal and external parties; compile and prepare announcements, stories, and photos for distribution across multiple media and social media channels.
