We’re looking to add a Master Data Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Site.
Reporting to the Logistic Manager, the Master Data Analyst role involves providing research and operational expertise to enhance the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the function. The role includes maintaining, consolidating and verifying data, preparing summary reports, spreadsheets and charts based on research of data from multiple sources to support the relevant function or department. Work on process optimizations and system controls & automation. Leverage and improve dashboards and online reports to provide better insight through data.
What a typical day looks like:
- Create and review efficient procedures for all records, including invoice/purchase orders and relevant documentation.
- Perform general reporting and research activities for score carding of suppliers and keep system updated reflecting current acceptance.
- Enter, update and maintain information on various business systems and/or various departments (eg: Warehouse, Planning, Operations)
- Maintains logistic records such as inbound and outbound shipments, accurate import compliance for inbound international shipments or other logistics information.
- Implement and maintain record-keeping systems to comply with all customs.
- Maintain and update part number database with most up to date part details/master data collected internally and from suppliers.
- Collect and maintain part details and identify mismatches and incompliances
- Prepare liability reports for excess and obsolete manag
