Under the management of the Co Manufacturing Manager, the Co Manufacturing Planner(s) are responsible for all demand and supply chain scheduling and execution for our (8) third‑party manufacturers in North America. This person will work closely with multiple departments to ensure that customer requirements are met, on time and in full.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan & execute production capacity of subcontracted finished goods,
daily process which requires close contact with Supply Planning as well as some internal BC manufacturing locations.
- Plan and replenish all materials to ensure the plan can be executed, by location. Daily task that requires SAP experience as well as the ability to reach out and work with our local BC scheduling Logistics sites.
- Coordinate subcontracting activities with internal departments, local demand and central planning, sales/customer service, sourcing, pricing, quality, marketing and logistics. Mostly on a weekly basis as plans are handed down from Supply Planning to the individual Co Mans.
- Build and maintain relationships with co-manufacturers. Weekly process through conference calls reviewing production and future capabilities and special projects.
- Communicate internally any shortages, delays or issues, this is done daily mainly with the Co man team.
- Proactively work with local planners to offset capacity issues at BC plants by providing subcontracting options. Weekly calls to walk thro
