Qualifications

- Experience with launch of complex components or systems (e.g., airbags, steering wheels or seatbelts).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience working directly with OEM customers.
- Minimum 3 years in automotive industry as Launch Engineer handling airbags, steering wheels or seatbelts manufacturing.
- Automotive industry expertise is a must.
- Must have own transportation to access the plant; relocation assistance not provided.
- Strong drive, innovation, and resilience to work with a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate new product launches from pre‑production through full‑scale manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain.




- Develop and track launch timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure production readiness, including tooling, equipment, and process validation.
- Monitor and resolve issues during pilot builds and early production phases.
- Support APQP activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Coordinate with customers (OEMs) regarding launch status, risks, and issue resolution.
- Implement continuous improvement actions to stabilize production after launch.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Report to the Operations Manager.
