Job Description
Bosch is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join its purchasing team. This role is responsible for ensuring that component suppliers meet Bosch and automotive industry standards, minimizing quality‑related disruptions to production. The engineer will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Claims Management: Oversee supplier claims, coordinate containment actions, and ensure the availability of certified components for manufacturing. Be the focal point to the coordination of 8D’s with supplier assuring TRC / MRC and the necessary actions.
- Defect Cost Recovery & Concessions: Track defect costs, manage concessions, and ensure adherence to processes.




- Audits & Compliance: Conduct supplier and internal audits, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Problem‑Solving & Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in problem‑solving activities and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).
- Sorting & Defect Management: Ensure proper sorting operations, including inspector training, defect catalog application, and NOK (non‑conforming) part segregation.
- KPI & Process Tracking: Monitor local KPIs, update PBI reports (scrap, costs, etc.), and lead task forces for quality improvement.
- PPAP & Supplier Quality Improvement: Support the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and lead initiatives to improve supplier quality.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
