Key Responsibilities

- Packaging Design & Development: Design structural packaging solutions (plastic, corrugate, and returnable packaging) using CAD tools, ensuring product protection and space optimization for automotive components.
- Returnable Packaging & Logistics Management: Manage returnable assets (bins, racks) and material flow to ensure availability and continuity of production operations.
- Validation & Testing: Conduct and/or coordinate packaging validation tests (vibration, impact, environmental conditions) to guarantee product integrity throughout transportation and storage.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Engineering, Logistics, and suppliers to develop cost‑effective and scalable packaging solutions.
- Compliance & OEM Standards: Ensure compliance with packaging, labeling, and OEM customer requirements and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, design optimization, and logistics efficiency within the supply chain.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Packaging, Logistics Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:



Previous experience in automotive packaging, manufacturing, or production logistics environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Experience with inventory control systems, Kanban, or MRP
- Knowledge of returnable packaging systems and OEM requirements

- Languages: Advanced English
