Project Description:

Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets.

The Project:

Luxoft is responsible for solution test automation for Investment Management, Equity Order Management platforms, and other engagements of the Client. You will develop scripts to support test automation as part of Luxoft's SDET team.

This engagement involves test automation for a new knowledge management system for analysts and portfolio managers, enabling users to view and manipulate data from internal sources (e.g., models, comments) and external sources (e.g., Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg).

The system aims to digitize many aspects of the investment process, including creation, communication, tracking, and evaluation of investment theses, with data used to refine investment processes continuously.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop automation test approaches and plans for complex integrated systems
2. Implement UI and non-UI automation techniques utilizing service and messaging layers
3. Design and develop code following test case standards to test APIs, services, and interfaces
4. Create tools to increase QM productivity




5. Participate in technical design sessions to influence automation strategies
6. Apply critical thinking and root cause analysis to solve problems
7. Evaluate and recommend automation tools and approaches

Mandatory Skills:

- Passion for Computer Science
- 3+ years of development experience in .NET/C# with deep knowledge of base types and concepts
- Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
- Experience with unit testing libraries (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
- Proficiency with Git
- Knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Helm charts
- Experience with AWS RDS (Postgres, Oracle, SQL) is a plus

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Puppeteer) and related patterns (PageObject)
- Experience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework Core)
- Expertise in testing service APIs and databases
