Remote Estimator
- Position: Remote Estimator
- Reporting to: Business Development Team
- Primary Function: Provide high-level renovation cost estimates for real estate properties

2. Company Context
- Industry: Renovation & Design-Build (NOT wholesale)
- Business Model:
- Partners with brokerages in New York & Miami
- Provides potential buyers with high-level renovation estimates to make listings more attractive
- Estimates include cost breakdowns for demo, plumbing, electrical, flooring, HVAC, permits, and timeline
- Helps clients see potential renovation costs upfront, increasing property sales

3. Key Responsibilities
- High-Level Cost Estimation:
- Create general renovation cost estimates based on predefined cost sheets
- Include estimated timelines, permits, and work approvals
- Work with floor plans and propose layout changes when needed
- Collaboration with Business Development Team:
- Provide estimates to brokers and clients
- Assist in refining the process over time
- Potential Future Expansion of Role:




- Assist in detailed estimates if clients move forward with renovation
- Work with existing remote estimator and sales team for detailed project planning

4. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Critical Competencies:
- Construction experience: Estimating, engineering, architecture, or project planning background
- Understanding of renovation projects: Familiarity with building materials, costs, and labor pricing
- Analytical skills: Ability to interpret floor plans and break down renovation costs
- Technical Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, estimating software, or similar tools
- Ability to manipulate floor plans for proposed layouts
- Language Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills (not necessarily native, but clear and professional)

5. Work Schedule & Location
- Work Hours: Based on New York business hours
- Initially 6 hours/day, with potential to scale to 8-10 hours depending on workload
