The Compliance Specialist supports nVent’s Ethics and Compliance Program by managing the Ethics Helpline and conducting or assisting with internal compliance investigations. The role includes maintaining and supporting the company’s case management system to ensure cases are accurately documented, tracked, and reported. The Compliance Specialist prepares reports, summarizes investigation findings, and supports communication with Human Resources, Legal, and leadership. This position leads low-complexity investigations and contributes to higher-complexity cases as needed. The role also assists in identifying process improvements and recommending corrective actions to address internal control or policy issues, working closely with financial and operational teams to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up on reported concerns.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Analyze investigation data, develop dashboards and visual reports, and prepare materials for leadership and Board presentations.
- Support the Speak Up process, including managing cases in the case management system, monitoring the ethics inbox, and coordinating with the investigations team.
- Track and report on case management metrics and trends to support continuous program improvement.
- Assist in implementing and optimizing the case management tool and related processes.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for stakeholders on investigations procedures and case management practices.
- Support investigations into allegations of misconduct, including fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, or policy violations; lead low-complexity cases under supervision.
