Job Title: Esports Specialist

Are you ready to shape the future of collegiate Esports on a general scale? We are looking for a driven, high-energy Esports Specialist to recruit elite talent, build a championship-level team culture, and lead our competitive rosters to success.

In this role, you won't just manage a roster—you’ll architect a modern program from the ground up. Combining the strategic mindset of a high-level coach with the hustle of a high-volume talent recruiter, you will scout top student-athletes across both the U.S. and Latin America, manage dynamic outreach pipelines, run high-impact practices, and create an environment where players thrive both on the screen and in the classroom.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

- Talent Scouting & Recruitment: Partner directly with our ESports Atheletics /Admissions team to identify, scout, and sign elite domestic (U.S.) and Latin American student-athletes using Discord, leaderboards, direct outreach, and regional tournament networks.
- Coaching & Player Development: Lead structured team practices, conduct deep VOD reviews, and build individualized development plans to unlock peak competitive performance.




- Strategic Match Prep: Stay ahead of meta shifts, analyze opponent playstyles, establish pick/ban strategies, and refine in-game shotcalling and communication protocols.
- Program & Arena Operations: Oversee daily operations in our campus gaming lab—ensuring optimal hardware performance, low-latency network setups, and seamless tournament production/streams.
- Culture & Academic Success: Foster an inclusive, high-discipline team environment that prioritizes academic accountability, mental health, and student retention across culturally diverse rosters.
- League Compliance: Handle tournament registrations, match scheduling, roster locks, and institutional compliance across all collegiate leagues and scrims.
- Stream & Broadcast Support: Collaborate with the operations team on technical setups for live streams, Twitch/YouTube broadcasts, and community content.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

- Regional & Cross-Border Recruiting Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Latin American and North American Esports landscapes. Demonstrated ability to tap into LatAm player networks, tournament circuits, and local gaming communities to recruit top-tier talent for U.S.-based academic programs.
- Communication & English Fluency:



Native-level or near-native English language fluency (written and spoken) to seamlessly navigate institutional admissions, academic eligibility, and roster communication. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly valued.
- High-Volume Esports Recruitment & Pipeline Drive: A proven track record in high-volume sales, outbound recruiting, or collegiate athletic recruitment. You thrive in high-velocity outreach, excel at contacting prospective student-athletes, and know how to convert international and domestic leads into committed recruits.
- Deep Esports & Scouting Literacy: Expert-level understanding of competitive gaming titles. You know how to evaluate talent beyond rank (stats, telemetry, team chemistry) and leverage Discord, server leaderboards, and scouting tools across multiple regions.
- Game Meta & Coaching Expertise: 1–2 years of hands-on coaching, analyst, or team management experience in collegiate or amateur Esports, with strong meta knowledge in core titles (e.g., Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch).
- Tech & Platform Literacy: Hands-on experience with competitive gaming setups, streaming software (OBS), tournament platforms, and active Discord community management.
