DESCRIPTION

J1 Hospitality Program – Requirements

Sponsor: HRC International

Program: J1 Internship / Trainee Program (USA)

Eligibility

- Age: 18 – 35 years old
- Must meet J1 visa eligibility requirements

Education / Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following:

- Degree in:
- Hospitality
- Tourism
- Culinary Arts
- Related field

OR

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Food & Beverage
- Culinary
- Rooms Division (Front Desk / Housekeeping)

Language

- English: B1–B2 minimum
- Must be able to communicate in a professional work environment

Profile

- Strong interest in training and working in the United States
- Adaptability to international environments
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Professional presentation and communication

General Requirements

- CV in English (Harvard format), updated with no gaps
- Valid passport
- Ability to complete interviews in English

Costs & Process

- HRC international recruitment services are 100% free
- Candidates must cover program and documentation costs (visa, sponsorship, processing)
- Total estimated investment: $1,725 USD
- $1,750 USD Scholarship available for Culinary candidates (applied toward visa cost)
- Payment plans available for:
- Food & Beverage
- Rooms Division

Program Conditions

- Duration: 12–18 months
- Positions in:
- Hotels
- Resorts
- Restaurants
- Monthly compensation: approx. $2,000 – $5,000 USD (depending on role and location)

- Estimated process: 6–8 weeks
