Western Boot Designer León, México Justin Brands / Tony Lama | Full-Time | In-Person
We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to join our product development team in León, México, supporting the iconic Justin Boots and Tony Lama brands.
About the Role
You'll work at the intersection of design and manufacturing — spending most of your time on the factory floor, collaborating closely with our Mexico-based sourcing team and factory partners to bring western boot collections to life. You'll serve as a key creative link between our US product development team and local production.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop western boots and footwear for Justin Boots and Tony Lama Brands
- Collaborate daily with factory partners in León and with the US product team remotely
- Create technical sketches, CAD files, and visual presentations to communicate design intent
- Travel to the US approximately 3 times per year for brand alignment and product reviews
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing footwear in Mexico, ideally in the western or boots category
- Proficiency in CAD and Photoshop; 3D rendering skills are a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
- Valid US visa (required)
- Comfortable working primarily on-site at factory facilities
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
