Senior Lean Manufacturing Engineer - Ci Leader A leading manufacturing company in Heroica Nogales is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide training. The idóneo candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, a bachelor's degree, and Lean Manufacturing Certification. This role involves analyzing data, implementing Lean methodologies, and improving processes. Competitive salary and full-time employment on-site.
Chamberlain Group – Nogales Manufacturing (Operations) This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Manufacturing - Operations group. A successful incumbent is expected to: lead continuous improvement activities and develop local coaches and training; identify stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events; analyze data to understand root causes or key drivers of required results. Requires 7+ years of experience as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, Lean Manufacturing Certification, Green Belt Certification. Lead continuous improvement activities and develop local coaches and training; identify the stakeholders and objectives for Kaizen and/or value-stream map (VSM) events. Analyze data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required results. Provide process improvement training to applicable areas and lead the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies. Provide guidelines and standards for the design of the manufacturing floor and facilitate implementation. Define BOP (Business Operation Processes) critical business metrics and build dashboards, scorecards, and other measurement systems and KPIs; ensure MDI process standardization.



Identify and drive improvement opportunities based on data, customer feedback and stakeholder inputs, while ensuring cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-in. Identify opportunities for waste reduction, establish and roll-out plans in partnership with leadership of relevant teams. Create standardized processes and ensure implementation of standardized operating systems. Lead the process for proper selection of high-value projects based on strategic fit, RONA, Revenue Growth, etc. Manage the project queue. Maintain confidentiality of Chamberlain Group information. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and professional involvement. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree; Lean Manufacturing Certification; Green Belt Certification. Experience: 7+ years as a Manufacturing or Lean Engineer. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of Layout Projection, Statistical tools, Lean Tools; English proficiency. Tools: SAP basics, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PLMs (Windchill preferred), VSM, and related systems.
Other Manufacturing Engineering Roles Plastic Molding Manufacturing Sr. Engineer — To design, develop and implement manufacturing processes considering tools, equipment, layout, facilities and systems to create safe and quality product with a competitive cost and optimum performance. Creates and documents process standards and work instructions, focused mainly on New Products, New processes and Productivity. Analyzes data from manufacturing processes related to time studies, layouts, process performance, CPK, critical dimensions, etc., and continuously improves process performance in safety, quality, cost, etc. Develops and implements strategic vision to area of expertise.



Assists problem solving activities related to major downtime, quality or safety issues by analyzing BOMs, interpreting drawings, engineering specifications and can consult SAP transactions to support production in engineering related problems. Coordinates and implements NPD projects with supervision. Validates critical new or modified parts in manufacturing process with control runs or other tools for the CQP and PPAP process. Supports and tracks Quality System Tools and procedures including SPC, PFMEA, and engages activities to improve KPIs. Creates and maintains ISO and Chamberlain Manufacturing System documentation. Participates in problems solving for systemic improvements and root cause analysis for quality issues. Designs, quotes, purchases and implements fixtures, tools, workstation improvements, equipment, and processes to support NPD and productivity. Applies Lean and Six Sigma tools to improve manufacturing, material flow and overall performance. Audits process information such as Time Study, Standard Work, Capacity, and Line Balancing. Creates, updates and audits process layout when changes are implemented. Conducts productivity projects related to labor, overhead and material through engineering tools, process automation opportunities, relayouts, and capacity increases. Audits Operational Safety Risks, Job Safety Analysis (ASTs) and Safety Practices; applies Ergonomic principles to processes and validates layouts. Develops capacity scenarios and business cases for capital investment and manages related CPRs. Leads Lean initiatives and training; defines BOP metrics and KPIs; ensures standardization. Ensures health and safety guidelines are followed across teams. Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering; Scientific Molding certification preferred. Experience: 8+ years. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Advanced knowledge in Scientific Molding, Mold Flow analysis, resin characteristics, mold design, tonnage calculations, project management, Lean, and problem solving. Proficient with MS Project, Minitab, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, Windchill, and related tools. English proficiency.
