**_ - SECOND SHIFT SUPERVISOR - 15:30 - 00:30 Monday -Friday _**Draws up the production schedule according to plan and allocates resources. - Oversees the production process within the shift. Ensures the following: - quality, cost, and other performance metrics are met or exceeded. - Compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, systems and processes. - Compliance to 5S and other Standard Operating Procedures. - Continuous improvement of the overall production process. - Assesses manufacturing operations staffing and skill requirements. - Conducts on-going performance reviews and provides timely feedback. - Participates and leads the team and Lean Manufacturing activities. - Manages the manufacturing operation consistent with the company operating guidelines. - Institutionalizes manufacturing Best Practice Tools and Processes. a. Adheres to quality standards by designing and developing methods, establishing priorities, and training personnel b. Provides analysis of warehoused raw materials and finished goods c. Schedules and coordinates flow of work within and between departments in order to expedite production d.



Maintains product quality by analyzing manufacturing and engineering requirements

Experiência y requisitos
- Professional studies in operations, engineering, or similar. - Preferably 2-5 years' experience - Fluent English written and spoken - Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing processes, safety standards, quality standards, and Microsoft office - Strong background in leadership and managing an hourly workforce in Mexico - High sense of urgency and ability to work methodically under time constraints - Willing and able to work upwards of 50-60 hours per week depending on the season including but not limited to days, night, and weekends shifts - Able to work on your feet for the majority of the day; desk is located on the manufacturing floor
