Reporting to Purchasing Manager Mexico

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Source and procure food coloring ingredients to meet production requirements and company objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and cost savings, focusing on quality, reliability, and delivery.




- Manage the complete purchasing lifecycle, from requisition to purchase order generation and delivery tracking, utilizing SAP and other relevant systems.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, analyze industry trends, and assess potential risks and opportunities within the food color market.
- Collaborate effectively with R&D;, Quality Assurance, Production, and Sales teams to understand ingredient needs, quality specifications, and market demands.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock and minimize waste, including managing lead times and shelf life of materials.
- Resolve issues related to product quality, delivery, and invoice discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and cost data within the company's systems.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization within the purchasing and delivery systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
