Digital Finance Analyst – Databricks Overview Bayer is seeking a Digital Finance Analyst with strong Databricks experience to support digital financial innovation initiatives within the North America CFO organization. This role will focus on building and supporting finance data capabilities as part of Bayer’s move toward Databricks as a core data platform. ~ This is part of a broader effort to establish a nearshore digital finance capability in supporting global finance transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on work in Databricks to support finance data and digital initiatives Build and maintain notebooks, queries, tables, views, joins, and data pipelines Transform and structure data from finance systems (e.g., SAP and related sources) into usable datasets Support integration of data into downstream systems such as planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) Troubleshoot data issues and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data Partner with finance stakeholders across controlling, tax, accounting, and finance functions Support multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced,



evolving environment Required Qualifications 5–7 years of experience Strong hands-on Databricks experience in a finance or business environment Experience working with: Databricks notebooks SQL and/or Python building queries, tables, views, joins, and data transformations Experience building or working with data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Experience supporting finance-related functions such as accounting, controlling, tax, FP&A;, or similar Ability to operate independently and adapt in an evolving, multi-project environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with finance data and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) Exposure to planning systems such as Anaplan Experience working in integral or cross-functional teams Understanding of data modeling and structuring datasets for business use Notes Databricks is already implemented; this role is hands-on and execution-focused This is not a generic data role — candidates must understand how data supports finance processes Ability to work across multiple initiatives with limited structure is important
