We are seeking a Cloud Architect to support the Americas Infrastructure organization, reporting directly to the Cloud Architecture Lead. This position partners with multiple IT teams including Digital, Applications, Cybersecurity, E-Commerce, Retail, Data, and Enterprise Architecture, to define and implement robust cloud and on-premise solutions, with primary focus on AWS and Azure environments (experience with GCP is a plus).

The Cloud Architect will actively contribute to the design, build, and operation of enterprise cloud platforms, participating throughout the full project lifecycle and ensuring solutions meet standards for scalability, security, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and deliver cloud solutions across public, private, hybrid, and on-prem environments that meet enterprise scalability and reliability standards.
- Maintain and evolve cloud platforms to ensure stability, performance, and high availability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and architectural advisor for cloud initiatives within the infrastructure organization.
- Define and promote DevOps and operational best practices across cloud environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to align cloud architecture with long-term technology strategies.
- Produce and maintain architectural artifacts, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to project planning by estimating infrastructure and cloud service costs.
- Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and capacity planning activities.




- Oversee infrastructure enhancements including operating systems, databases, and supporting tools.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and standards (SOPs).
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution as needed.
- Ensure clear communication with stakeholders and alignment with business and technical requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
- Advanced English (mandatory)
- 5–7 years of professional IT experience, with solid knowledge of infrastructure, networking, storage, and security.
- Experience working in large enterprise data center or hybrid cloud environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex infrastructure or cloud-based solutions.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and access management concepts.
- Experience designing cloud architectures optimized for availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Chef, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including firewalls, DNS, CDN, and proxy services.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate independently in fast-changing, high-demand environments.
- Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and initiative.
