The Product Development Manager – Fabric Development is primarily responsible for creating and developing new piece dye fabrics, translating customer and market needs into commercially viable, production‑ready fabrics.Once fabrics are developed, this role ensures a structured and disciplined transition from development to bulk production, including lab dips, approvals, and pre‑production. This is a hands‑on, technical role first, and a process coordination role second.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new fabrics based on Customer briefs, Market trends, and Sales direction. Define fabric construction, blends, finishes, and performance targetsWork closely with mills, finishing, and dye house teams to engineer fabrics and ensure fabrics are commercially viable and scalableEnsure color accuracy, hand feel, and finish consistency and performance standards. Adjust constructions/processes to meet targetsManage workflow, ensure clear, approved standards before production starts,



and implement tracking tools for visibilityAct as a technical bridge between Sales, Customers, and Plant and translate customer needs into technical specifications.Define SOPs for development and approval processes. Build repeatable standards for colors and finishesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field7–10+ years of experience in fabric development, preferably in piece dyeStrong technical knowledge of dyeing processes, fabric construction, finishing, and color development and lab dipsExperience working with US brands and fast‑paced development timelinesFluent in Spanish and English (required)Highly detail‑oriented with a strong process‑driven mindsetStrong cross‑functional communication and coordination skills
