Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of contracts and legal documents, including financial contracts and service agreements.Ensuring ongoing compliance with Mexican financial regulations and requirements issued by CNBV, CONDUSEF, and Banco de México (Banxico), including AML/CFT, PEP screening, and internal compliance policies.Managing corporate governance documentation, including bylaws, board and shareholder meeting minutes, powers of attorney, and other corporate records.Advising on structuring products, debt restructuring (e.g., GICSA bonds), and specific financial instruments like mutual funds.Assisting in the recovery of delinquent accounts for credit products and protecting the company’s rights, including but not limited to reviewing collection processes, dealing with delinquent accounts, and potentially litigation/enforcement.Handling/assisting government communications, regulatory filings,



and interactions related to day-to-day operations and business expansion.Tracking, researching, and analyzing industry regulations, preparing internal summaries, and providing actionable compliance recommendations.Complying with and implementing the company’s internal rules, policies, and procedures, and performing other legal or compliance-related tasks as assigned.QualificationsA Law Degree with a valid professional license is mandatory; a J.D. equivalent or Master’s in Corporate/Financial Law is highly preferred.Typically 2–5 years of legal working experience; prior experience in the financial sector (e.g., Banca, SOFOM, or Fintech) is a strong plus. Familiarity with CNBV and CONDUSEF portals is preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
