This role owns the commercial execution for the Agency LOB , converting pipeline into revenue while ensuring alignment with capacity, margin, and delivery readiness. In addition to closing new business, this role helps operationalize the Agency’s sales transformation—bringing structure, discipline, and repeatability to how opportunities are qualified, progressed, and handed off. Closing bad deals is worse than closing no deals. As the Sales Lead, you are the commercial conscience of the Agency. You ensure that every contract signed is margin-positive, properly scoped, and aligned with our delivery capacity. You’re part closer, part strategist, and part air traffic controller. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Conversion: Own the late-stage sales cycle—leading proposals, pricing, and negotiations to hit revenue targets. Commercial Discipline: Draft and review SOWs to ensure they reflect measurable outcomes, realistic timelines, and target margins. Sales Transformation:
Implement consistent operating rhythms for pipeline reviews, forecasting, and handoff readiness. Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Product, Design, and Engineering to validate solutions before they are sold. New Client Success: Ensure a seamless handoff from the "sale" to the "kickoff," eliminating ambiguity for the delivery team. What We’re Looking For Experience: 5–10 years in consultative sales or account management preferrably within a US based digital agency or services firm. Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the SDLC , scoping, and the realities of digital delivery. Backbone: Comfortable saying "no" to bad fits and pushing back on unrealistic client expectations.
