SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is a leadership position responsible for managing SCMs and their duties and execute/implement existing and new processes under Operations team.
Using data trend and root cause analysis, the Operations Manager will closely work with internal support teams and Customer to resolve supply chain concerns impacting requirements on the SOW.
The Operations manager role will also assist the Senior Operations Manager with improving overall service, quality within their designated accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

- Manage and improve performance on the assigned Supply Chain Manager team.
- Act as a liaison between Customer and Pro Trans (Operations, Carries, Solutions design, Procurement) to meet or exceed established service level agreements defined in the SOW.
- Develop communication and operational processes with Customers, Customer's suppliers, and Customer's plant/warehouse locations to meet service level agreed on the SOW.
- Serve as an escalation point to address and resolve significant customer concerns.
- Assist on startup and implementation of new accounts or additional business for existing Customers for all products and services offered by Pro Trans.
- Assist in managing CPAR/8D process when a quality issue occurs for assigned customers.
- Prepare relevant Pro Trans' performance information to attend customer meetings and manage projects or open tasks to ensure deliverables are met for customer initiatives (within SOW).
- Communicate and collaborate with the rest of the operations managers to transmit goals and lessons learned.
- Assist to create solutions/support to other areas and departments within the company.
- Along with their teams, create, maintain and keep updated written work instructions,
trainings on PTU or any other tool to ensure all his/her team is properly trained on their duties.
- Identify gaps in processes or system to address them with the proper team to find the best solution.
- Communicate goals, achievements, and deficiencies daily to assigned employee groups.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Manager has direct responsibility for managing assigned employee groups.
He or She must be knowledgeable of, and act in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Manage Personnel schedules and Employee's working time and balance the workload between employees.
- Verify his/her team is provided with correct training and tools to perform activities.
- Developing and motivating talent
- Create and maintain a positive environment in the workplace.
- Schedule PTO by employee and by team that is balanced to organizational goals and objectives.
- Communicate one-on-one directly with each employee.
- Communicate effectively and positively.
- Other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.

- Willing to travel as necessary.
Must have valid Visa and/or Passport to travel within North America.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field.
Masters degree desired but not mandatory.
At least 5 years' proven experience in logistics/transportation and managing +10 people groups.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English and Spanish.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively in English and Spanish before a group of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs.
