**Video Editor** - Contract Basis
Mexico City (Fully Remote)
This role will be on a contract basis to start. We hope that in the near future this will expand to a half-time or full-time position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ideate with the creative team on new video ideas.
- Collaborate with a creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality video outputs.
- Edit raw footage into compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
- Review and make necessary corrections to edited materials based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Manage and organize video assets and archives.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing software, techniques, and industry trends.
**Requirements**:
- Must have your own computer capable of running video editing software such as Final Cut Pro
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut and After Effects.
- Experience with Photoshop or similar photo editing software.
- Solid understanding of editing principles, including color grading,



sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with various video formats and codecs.
- 1-2 years of experience with video recording and editing ability.
- Must be able to work independently to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Exceptional team player with a willingness to learn new skills and ideas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and enthusiasm.
- English Proficiency
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in creating content for digital and social media platforms.
- Skilled in digital photography and videography.
- Knowledge of graphic design and animation.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with InDesign or other graphics software.
- A good understanding of artificial lighting.

**Salary**:
Salary for the role at a contract basis will be $137 mxn / hour
