Position Objective
This position will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the remote/virtual installation of a Restaurant POS and training to utilize the system. You will remotely assist clients and third‑party contractors with the installation and training of our POS system, ensuring a seamless setup process. You will need to have a vast knowledge of restaurants and how they operate. The goal of this role is to aid in setting up the business to run more successfully and efficiently prior to and immediately following the installation of the Restaurant POS. This position is a hybrid position requiring you to attend your local office 2–3 days per week based on your manager.
Responsibilities
- Remote assist hardware install—workstations, pin pads, printers, cash drawers, switches, and other hardware devices that integrate with RPOS.
- Remote assist install router/firewall, patch cables,
cable management.
- Remote training and live support of our clients and 3p partners.
- Menu/system functionality changes.
- Pre‑Installation setup task lists.
- Post‑Installation task lists.
- Remote site readiness visits.
- Remote troubleshooting.
Skills & Knowledge
- Understand how to invoice for services.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Possess strong analytical and critical problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic financial accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal English (second language is a bonus) communication skills.
- Ability to interact with and coach a wide variety of stakeholders, ranging from restaurant managers and owners to business executives and chefs.
- Ability to support multiple projects going on simultaneously.
Previous Experience
- 2+ years of experience with POS implementation, performing installations.
- 2+ years of working in restaurants.
- Experience working in a wide variety of restaurant types is preferred.
Education / Professional Training
- High School Diploma.
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
