JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Operations Manager, you are the driving force behind the day-to-day management of our Retail projects.

n

You are responsible for ensuring that multiple finishing projects run smoothly and efficiently, from preparation to delivery.

n

With your knowledge and expertise, you ensure that projects are completed within the schedule and budget and with a high-quality end result.

n

As an Operations Manager, you are in close contact with your clients and are an important point of contact.

n

You are commercially minded, actively contribute ideas, know how to manage expectations effectively and help build long-term client relationships.

n

You will directly manage a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers, among others, and act as a connecting link between different departments.

n

You will guide and coach your team where necessary, encourage personal development and promote knowledge sharing, so that everyone can grow in their role.

n

In addition, you will monitor the planning, progress, quality, safety and return on investment of all ongoing projects.

n

You will identify deviations in a timely manner, deal with them appropriately and ensure that agreements are clearly recorded.

n

Your core responsibilities as an Operations Manager Retail include:

n

Managing, supervising and coaching the project team, consisting of Project Managers and Project Engineers.

n

Final responsibility for the daily operation of multiple retail projects.

n

Monitoring and adjusting planning, capacity, budget, quality,



safety and return on investment for ongoing projects.

n

Assessing projects from a technical, organisational and financial perspective and identifying risks and deviations in a timely manner.

n

Ensuring smooth project progress from preparation to delivery, including the correct recording of agreements.

n

Acting as a connecting link between departments and ensuring clear communication and effective cooperation.

n

Your profile?

n

Through your knowledge, organisational skills and coaching abilities, you consistently deliver projects to great success.

n

In addition, you have:

n

HBO or university degree in Architecture, Engineering or Business Administration.

n

At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector, including several years in a managerial role.

n

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

n

Financial insight and problem-solving skills.

n

Are you proactive, independent and decisive.

n

Have a proficiency in both Dutch and English.

n
