Job Description

n

Responsible to implement, maintain and improve the manufacturing process, ensure technical availability of equipment in all shifts.

n

Fulfil Value Stream KPI's: IDC, FOR, Technical Down time.

n

New product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation and installation on production environment.

n

Develop process and instructions for processes, write material to train technicians, and processes for maintenance: Preventive, predictive and corrective.

n

Qualifications

n

Leader of MFP mechanical process engineering group.

n

Leader of definition and follow up of competence development strategies for Engineering and Technicians groups.

n

Main owner / promoter of MFP metrics such as machine cycle time, FOR, technical downtime (Nu% loss).

n

Responsible to negotiate with other areas resources necessary to complete task directly related with engineering, quality and new implementations.

n

Responsible to define problem solving projects on a regular basis after regular analysis of TOP contributors to ensure the compliance of the business metrics all the time.

n

Responsible to establish a systematic for day-to-day topics follow up related to main business metrics in order to avoid having unexpected peaks.

n

Leader and coach of projects to continuously improve business key indicators: quality, cost, utilization.

n





Deployment of company/plant goals and policies to the Engineering groups.

n

Hiring, coaching, and mentoring to personnel (Engineers).

n

Technical and human resources planning.

n

Responsible to communicate business status to the group of Engineers.

n

Responsible to establish regular F2F communication with the group of Engineers.

n

Owner of the Maintenance strategy within VS production lines, including machines, tooling, racks/carts, spare parts, and SW back-ups.

n

Responsible to follow, implementation, maintain and improvement the mechanical assembly process required for product manufacturing, including but not limited to PLC & Controls, robotics, mechanical design and assembly analysis, and keep the process under control according to process parameters.

n

Responsible for fixtures, tools: Design, fabrication, acceptance validation, release and implementation on production process.

n

Responsible for following and applying process parameters according to DMD, VVT, DI, etc.

n

Responsible to validate NPI establishing process parameters, mechanical dimensions and production release.

n

Responsible to ensure engineers training on process, machine configuration and process parameters.

n

Support to Technicians group 24/7 to eliminate roadblocks and to ensure the availability of the necessary internal and/or external support that they may need.

n





Next level within the process escalation.

n

Act and serve as a technical resource for Engineering and Technicians teams.

n

Owner of building the necessary networking for MFP activities.

n

Owner of implementation of Bosch standards among the technical areas.

n

Ensure the follow up of Bosch standards among Engineering group.

n

Ensure that procedures and instructions are followed.

n

Under their responsibility scope but not limited to:

n

Prepare pre-and final acceptance if Test systems Equipment's

n

Conduct equipment capability study

n

Cooperate with product development team

n

Operate equipment, fault elimination, support the establishment and execution of measures

n

Support the preparation of equipment to produce new products based on the existing standards

n

Prepare machine documentation, technical descriptions

n

Optimize test programs, introduce AAS

n

Adherence to related instructions and standards of Bosch

n

Support production and service staff in problem solving

n

Cooperation with other locations

n

Support the improvement and rationalization of equipment

n

Carry out cycle time improvement

n

Statistical observation of trial and series production

n
