Important: This position is based in Mexico City under a hybrid model and requires on-site presence at the client's location in the Polanco area 3 days per week.
Workday Learning Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver a seamless and effective learning experience across the organization. This role functions as the primary technical and functional expert for the Workday Learning module within the broader HCM ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- System Administration & Configuration Maintenance: Administering the Workday Learning system, including user administration, security settings, and general configurations. Ensuring smooth and accurate data flow between Workday Learning and other Workday modules (like HCM) or external HR systems. Staying current with Workday releases, testing new features, and implementing required system enhancements to optimize the learning experience. Conducting regular system audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Content & Program Management: Course Management: Configuring and managing the entire learning catalog, including creating, editing, and updating courses, lessons, and multi-part learning programs. Deployment: Managing learning assignments, prerequisites, equivalencies, and enrollment, often using automated Learning Campaigns to target specific employee groups. Logistics: For instructor‐led training (ILT) or blended courses, managing offerings, scheduling, waitlists, and instructor assignments.
- Reporting & Analytics:
Generating reports and developing dashboards (using Workday Report Writer) to monitor training progress, completion rates, and system usage. Effectiveness Measurement: Analyzing LMS data to measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives and provide actionable insights to Learning & Development stakeholders.
- User Support & Training: Acting as the primary point of contact for end‐users and managers, troubleshooting issues related to enrollment, course access, completion tracking, and system errors. Support & Documentation: Providing technical assistance and developing user‐friendly resources (e.g., how‐to guides) to ensure successful system adoption.
Required Skills
- Technical: Workday Learning certification and 2–5 years of hands‐on experience in Workday Learning administration, configuration, and reporting.
- Functional: Strong knowledge of general LMS best practices, instructional design principles, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical: Excellent problem‐solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in building reports and analyzing data.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and clear communication abilities for collaborating with stakeholders and supporting end‐users.
Preferred
- Workday Pro or other Workday‐specific certifications related to or HCM modules.
