Eatonu2019s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Lean Technician. nn## What youu2019ll do:nnThis position is responsible to act as change agent to promote cost savings and cultural changes by playing key leadership. The Lean Manufacturing Technician is expected to drive improvements and provide support to implement Lean initiatives originated by the core teams or by the OPEX/CI organization. In addition, is expected to promote standardization of Lean Techniques across the plant by promoting/ developing initiatives affecting multiple areas. n nnnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: n\- Facilitate, coordinate and drive the 5s work culture throughout the organization. n\- Lead and promote the ideas program in production and support areas. n\- Lead cross-functional teams developing projects across multiple Business Units and functions. n\- Promote Lean Transformation in the plant by selecting and driving lean tools in order to support long term vision. n\- Provides timely feedback to his/her supervision on project status n\- Create project presentations to effectively communicate status and action plans in both English and Spanish n\- Assures Lean best practices and lessons learned are implemented in all applicable areas and functions across the plant. n\- Act as advisor for ELSS Tools when other Engineers in the plant are dealing with complex problems. n\- Exercise Influence in peers and two levels above.



n\- Implement techniques to bring projects back into control. n\- And other activities, which are assigned by the immediate supervisor. nn## Qualifications:nnEducation level required nEngineering BS Degree n nYears and area of experience required n1-2 years in a Manufacturing Environment (Desirable). n nTechnical knowledge nKnowledge of manufacturing methods, systems, and production processes, ability to translate data coming from several sources into informative charts, knowledge of personal computers including word processing, spreadsheet, n\- Bilingual (Spanish/English) [Preferred]. nn#LI-MB2nn## Skills:nnSoft skills nnExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to work in team environment, process focus with attention-to-detail abilities, problem solving skills, effective communication skills at all levels of the organization, proactive individual able to work under minimal supervisionnnWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
