Machinery Service Engineer

RHI Magnesita has an excellent opportunity for a Service Engineer position at customer plants

The Technical Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the availability of RHIMAGNESITA-owned machines by performing electrical‑mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance at customer plants, as well as completing preventive maintenance and managing spare components.

It is highly required to ensure the safe operation of the machines in compliance with RHIMAGNESITA standards and customer plant-specific requirements.

Strong coordination with the technical departments within the RHIMAGNESITA, customers and equipment manufacturers, as well following up on assigned tasks and preparing reports.

This position will report directly to Francisco Rangel as Coordinator of Machinery Technical Service.

About You

- Strong focus on individual and collective Safety
- Self-motivated
- Enjoys hands-on work
- Availability for adaptable schedules and travel
- Residence in Ramos Arizpe (Saltillo/Arteaga) area

What you need to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electricity, Automation or Electro-mechanic
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams
- Experience on SIEMENS PLCs and HMI, Networks
- Experience on equipment Installation and Commissioning
- Experience on electrical control
- Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the industry
