job description

our client is seeking a mid-level product designer to manage ux and product design execution across their core platform. This role is suitable for a designer who can work independently, critically analyze workflows, and execute designs from start to finish while collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership for higher-level decisions.

responsibilities

* own ux design for product features and workflows from concept through release.
* design end-to-end user flows for complex, multi-step experiences.
* identify ux issues and propose improvements proactively.
* create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
* collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate and feasible implementation.
* maintain consistency across product ux patterns and interaction standards.




* participate in product discussions and provide ux input early in the process.

required experience and qualifications

* 3–5 years of experience as a product designer or ux designer.
* proven experience in managing features or workflows end-to-end.
* strong understanding of ux principles, usability, and user behavior.
* ability to articulate and defend design decisions clearly.
* comfortable working in complex, regulated, or high-stakes products (fintech, legaltech, healthcare, or similar environments are a plus).

preferred skills

* experience with trust-, identity-, or compliance-sensitive workflows.
* familiarity with design systems (using, maintaining, or contributing).
* experience collaborating closely with engineering in fast-moving teams.
